FAQ’s
Go ahead… we know you’ve got some questions. This mobile thing is kinda new!

What makes Valeo different?
Valeo Veterinary is a fully equipped mobile veterinary hospital that brings comprehensive veterinary care directly to your home. By eliminating the stress of transporting your pet and avoiding crowded waiting rooms, we strive to provide a calmer, more personalized experience for both pets and their families.
Is your mobile clinic a real veterinary clinic?
Yes, but with a few limitations. Our mobile unit is designed to provide hospital-level veterinary care using advanced diagnostic equipment, digital medical records, and modern technology. Many services traditionally performed in a brick-and-mortar clinic can be completed during your visit. A couple limitations we have are hospitalization and orthopedic surgery, for which we can utilize our referral system. We have creatively hospitalized pets in their own home with great success.
Why choose a mobile veterinarian?
Mobile veterinary care offers many benefits, including:
Less stress for pets and their owners
No travel or waiting rooms
More one-on-one time with your veterinarian
Easier care for senior pets or those with mobility issues
Convenient appointments for multi-pet households
Personalized care in your pet's familiar environment

How do I schedule an appointment?
Complete our online appointment request form. Please include your address, your pet's needs, and your preferred appointment times. We'll contact you if we're able to schedule your visit.
What areas do you serve?
Our primary service area includes:
Osage Beach
Lake Ozark
Four Seasons
Porto Cima
Portions of Sunrise Beach
Portions of Linn Creek
Service to surrounding communities may be available depending on scheduling and travel. Please see our Scheduling page for current availability.
Do you offer same-day or emergency appointments?
Our mobile practice operates on a carefully planned schedule of appointments rather than waiting throughout the day for calls or walk-in cases. Unlike a traditional veterinary clinic, we travel between scheduled appointments to provide personalized, in-home veterinary care.
Because we may be serving patients throughout our service area, we cannot guarantee same-day or emergency appointments. We always make every effort to accommodate urgent medical concerns when our schedule and location allow, but availability depends on our existing commitments.
If your pet has an urgent but non-life-threatening concern, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll let you know whether we can accommodate your pet or if another veterinary facility would be better able to provide timely care.
If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, such as difficulty breathing, severe trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, repeated seizures, collapse, or suspected poisoning, please seek immediate care at the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.
Can you see multiple pets during one visit?
Absolutely. Many families schedule multiple pets during the same appointment, making mobile care even more convenient. It does require coordination and planning on the client’s behalf, and we work through one pet at a time. Households with multiple indoor cats can be a challenge due to increased stress levels and certain feline behavior tendencies.

-
Is mobile veterinary care more expensive?
Not necessarily. While there is a mobile service fee associated with bringing the hospital directly to your home, our practice is intentionally designed to operate efficiently. By reducing many of the overhead expenses associated with maintaining a traditional brick-and-mortar facility, we strive to provide high-quality veterinary care at competitive prices. Please visit our fees page for more details.
Will I receive an itemized estimate?
We do not routinely prepare itemized written estimates before treatment. Creating detailed estimates requires significant administrative time, and one of the ways we keep our services affordable is by minimizing administrative overhead rather than passing those costs on to our clients. We're always happy to discuss the anticipated cost ranges of your pet's care, explain your treatment options, and answer any questions before proceeding so you understand what to expect.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment is due at the time services are provided. We accept major credit cards, cash, and check (established clients). Please visit our fees page for more details.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, with stipulations. Financing options are available through CareCredit and Cherry for qualified applicants. Please see our fees page for more details. No in-house payment plans are offered.
-
How do I transfer or receive my pet's records?
Simply email your pet's records to us before your appointment. This helps us provide the most complete care possible. Just visit our records page.
If you need to request records, most are available on demand through our PetCare app. If you need assistance, we can also email them to you or another clinic.
-
Do you provide travel health certificates?
Yes. Dr. Inman is USDA Level II accredited and can prepare both domestic and international health certificates for all animal species.
We recommend scheduling at least 10–14 days before travel. Some countries require additional testing or waiting periods, so earlier is even better.
-

We are currently accepting new clients within our primary service area, and invite to read more details on our scheduling page. Availability may change depending on scheduling demand. The online contact and request form is the best way to establish care with us. We are typically unable to answer the phone while caring for patients.
We do work to accommodate end-of-life needs outside our primary service area when possible. Availability, especially last minute, cannot be guaranteed.
-
How should I prepare for my first appointment?
To help us provide the safest and most efficient care, please take a few minutes to prepare before we arrive.
Access to your property
Please ensure we have reasonable access to your driveway and home.
We strongly prefer to park in a driveway rather than on the roadway whenever possible.
Our mobile hospital requires adequate clearance for safe access. Tree limbs and other overhead obstructions should be trimmed to provide at least 11 feet of vertical clearance.
Because we rely on satellite internet for medical records and communications, a location with a reasonably clear view of the sky is preferred. Heavy tree cover or other obstructions may limit connectivity.
Driveway and property conditions
For the safety of us and our equipment, we may be unable to provide service if access to your home is unsafe. This may include:Extremely steep or unstable driveways
Soft ground or conditions that could cause the vehicle to become stuck
Low-hanging branches or other obstacles that prevent safe vehicle access or cause damage
Unsafe parking conditions
If we have concerns about access, we'll contact you before your appointment to discuss available options. This is one of the reasons we require a physical address on the online contact form.
Home environment
We ask that your home be reasonably clean and safe for us to work in. In situations where conditions pose a health or safety concern, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue service.Preparing your pets
Cats: Please have all cats securely confined in a single room or in a carrier before we arrive. Cats often hide when unfamiliar people enter the home, and locating them can significantly delay appointments. Our days are full and we do not have time allocated to moving furniture, appliances, or other household items to retrieve a pet.
Dogs: Please have dogs leashed or otherwise safely restrained when we arrive, unless we've made other arrangements.
